Snow blower:  our guide for shopping for a quality ATV snowblower

Are you in great need of a snowblower and don’t know where to get one?  You are not alone.  Some ATV snow blower owners have recommended Yamaha, Honda, and Polaris.  The snowblower usually has a 13 hp motor.  In one review, the individual reported that a Yamaha store had a Kimpex brochure that was selling snowblowers for just over $1,500.  This individual was then given the option of selecting a motor of her choice, which added to the price of the ATV snowblower.

On average, the total weight of an ATV snowblower is just over 200 lbs. Some of these snow blower attachments put only about 10-15 lbs of weight on the frame of your ATV.  Hooking up your ATV snowblower takes about half an hour.  After that, it takes only a minute or two to put it on or take it off.

Some owners have reported that their ATV snowblowers have cost them anywhere from just under $2,000 up to $4,000.  Honda’s HS724, for
instance, is just under $2,000.  Its HS1132 includes a hydrostatic drive, a track drive, and is listed at just over $2,500.  If you have a tight budget, you may want to consider purchasing a used snowblower.  (Honda lists its used snowblowers as well.)
