ATV Drags
In drag racing you can find yourself doing 80-90mph on a 200 ft track, which means it takes just over 3 seconds from the start to the finish line. With the amount of horsepower in your ATV, sometimes you find your ATV coming off the ground a few feet, just from the initial power.
The majority of drag racers spend their money in improving the motor and getting their ATV to look good with a nice paint job. The ATV Drag Racing Association has forums and includes information for different types of drag racing (i.e. asphalt, sand, dirt, etc.). With a login name and password, you can become a member and participate in the live chats and write to other drag racers and discuss racing locations, available ATV drag racing classes, and even advice on getting your ATV faster and better.
An option for getting updated information on racing news, locations, upcoming competitions, and winners, you can subscribe to ATV Racin’ Extra at www.atvracinextra.com. All you might want to know about ATV drag racing can be found at this site: feature stories, opinions, and a little ATV drag racing humor. If you’re not interested in subscribing, there are some sites that provide you with links to other ATV drag racing information.
