Argo ATV:  From Land to Water

The ARGO ATV is considered amphibious, which means that you don’t have to worry about altering anything when traveling from land to water and vice versa.  Argo ATV models include the Avenger 8x8, Vanguard 6x6, Vanguard2 6x6, Bigfoot 6x6, Bigfoot 6x6, Response 8x8, Conquest 6x6 and 8x8.

You don’t have to worry about moving your Argo from place to place because these all-wheel drive vehicles fit in a full-sized pick-up truck.  8x8 models can run as high as 18-20 mph and 6x6 models between 20-23 mph (depending on the terrain).  In water, the vehicles can reach a top speed of about 2 mph unless a motor is attached.  This motor can also be beneficial if you plan on traveling in water for a lengthier amount of time.

According to Argo Atv, the 8x8’s can carry up to about 1,000 lbs (6 adults) on land and 4 adults in water. The 6x6’s can carry up to 700 lbs (2 adults, 2 children) on land and 2 adults on water.   The Argo ATV is unique in that it can go into any water depth because it floats.  As long as the water is calm and you are properly equipped with your safety gear, you shouldn’t have a problem.
